What is New?

Jason Friesema will be starting a Parenting Group in October 2011. The purpose of the group will be to offer support to parents whose children are battling addiction. Additionally, this group will offer an educational component. Jason plans to discuss issues such as household structure, parenting plans and strategies for restoring damaged relationships during this difficult journey.  

In September 2011, we will be adding a new intern to our program. Emily Inman will be joining our team as part of her internship completing her doctorate degree from the University of the Rockies. Emily will be accepting new clients on a sliding fee scale, and she will be co-faciliating groups.

We have officially started utilizing the services of Debby Patz Clarke to facilitate Yoga Therapy. Debby is a Licensed Psychologist, and she is a certified yoga instructor. She brings her unique skill set to Insight Services as she works with clients on managing issues related to their addiction during the yoga therapy sessions.

Insight Services is happy to announce that we have a Facebook page now where we post interesting articles related to mental health, addiction or anything else that may seem valuable.  Feel free join the Insight Services fan page on Facebook. Twitter will be coming soon as well.  

We are proud to announce that we have started a Young Adult Group. This group focuses on addiction issues specifically for individuals 18 to 25 years of age. The group was created in response to an apparent need in the Colorado Springs community, and it compliments our recovery program quite nicely.

In October 2010, we added a new psychotherapist to our team. Erin Ashby joins us as she completes her internship through University of the Rockies. She does accept clients on a sliding scale basis.

We are also accepting new clients at this time, so please feel free to contact us to set up an intake appointment.

Who is Insight Services?

The Founders/Owners of Insight Services are the Licensed Professional Counselors Joanie Lewis and Jason Friesema. We have recently added Licensed Psychologist Justin Lincoln and Licensed Professional Counselor Shannon Kelly to our team of clinicians. As a clinical team they have vast and varied experience treating substance abuse and mental health disorders in the Colorado Springs area.
